Magnox Ltd are responsible for the safe and secure clean-up of twelve nuclear sites and operation of one hydro-electric plant, managing sites through their lifecycles, overseeing all aspects of operation, defuelling and decommissioning. We are now seeking a Head of Project Engineering, reporting into our Asset Management and Improvement Director.  This is a new role and is accountable for the establishment and maintenance of a competent project engineering capability and to ensure robust project engineering processes and people are in place ensuring project delivery.  The postholder will need to provide effective leadership of the project engineering capability ensuring that standards and procedures are effectively applied and support compliance and the delivery of the company’s objectives. 

You will bring a demonstrable track record in project engineering experience across all project phases and must have experience working in a regulated industry.  Bringing significant experience in an engineering design environment and in the nuclear, industrial or construction/demolition industry, you will have experience of managing full, multi-discipline design teams and resources, across multiple locations.  You will work in a collaborative manner, building effective relationships with board colleagues, the executive team, and across the organisation with an open and personable style.
